I recently got laid-off from my position in the fashion industry. It isn't the time nor the place to continue that path. Whether its the side-comment of a stranger or the encouragement of friends, there is a large comfort in knowing--- I'm meant for something else. I've been heavily encourage to continue pursuit in the thing that I'm good at. That thing is art. I may not be the best, but I'm learning. One of my close friends, Kenny, put it best--- Think not of failure, but of learning. That is what I'm setting out to do. I need to make mistakes, I need to adjust... I need to make good on all the books and time in my life, where I need to create something worth admiring.
